Over the past seven years, Chef Orlando has hosted local vendors at Orlando’s Restaurant & Bar for dinner, to commemorate their commitment and input to the culinary world. These are the unsung heroes and heroines who daily supply fresh, organic produce to him and other restauranteurs.

Saint Lucian agricultural farmers, manufacturers, vendors and fishermen have not been adequately recognised for their addition to Saint Lucia’s economy.
These hard workers have been for decades cultivating our soils, planting, harvesting and supplying the raw foods we daily enjoy. How often do they observe the cuisine and products we consume, with awareness of the process leading to our consumption?
